On August 7, 2025 (Thursday), starting at 8:00 PM, a promotion of the book "(DIS) TRUST THE STORYTELLER – THE CASE OF THE CHILDREN’S SANATORIUM IN KRVAVICA" and the instrumental album "MEDICAL HISTORY" by Ante Puharić – Beg will take place on the lower terrace of the former sanatorium/holiday resort in Krvavica.
The book "(Dis) Trust the Storyteller – The Case of the Children’s Sanatorium in Krvavica" explores the fate of an architecturally significant building from the 1960s, designed by Rikard Marasović, originally intended for the treatment of children with respiratory diseases. This publication brings together interdisciplinary texts that examine the building's history, social context, and ongoing efforts for its revitalization as a neglected yet valuable cultural monument.
The instrumental album "Medical History" by guitarist Ante Puharić features nine tracks recorded in Makarska between 2020 and 2024. Created in collaboration with outstanding musicians, the album is accompanied by a video featuring a dance performance filmed inside the same former sanatorium building, further evoking the atmosphere of decay and the memory of the place.
