Klapa Berulia will perform in the center of Baška Voda on Thursday, September 4, 2025, starting at 8:30 PM.
Klapa Berulia, from Brela, was founded in 2007 and is composed of experienced musicians and klapa singers from Omiš to Makarska—all of whom have taken part in the Festival of Dalmatian Klapa in Omiš, performing there in 2011, 2016, and 2022.
The group first proved itself in 2008 at the Makarska Festival with mandolin and guitar accompaniment, where they deservedly won the Gold Plaque. In 2009, they became the absolute winners of the Omiš Festival, as chosen by both the expert jury and the audience.
In 2016, they were the winners of the 50th jubilee edition of the Omiš Festival during the Evening of New Compositions, according to the audience vote, and at the 56th Festival in 2022, they received the Award for Best Performance, also during the Evening of New Compositions.
Since 2010, they have turned toward performing covers of popular hits, following the trend of other klapas, and regularly perform along the Makarska Riviera—so much so that they say they’ve become “a brand of the Makarska Riviera.” Their debut single "Ti si moja tajna" (You Are My Secret) was released in 2014, followed by "Bez anđela" (Without Angel) in 2015, and in 2018, their hit song "Kad bi moga" (If I Could) marked the year. That same year, at the Melodies of the Croatian South festival in Opuzen, they won an award for the song "Ako tebe ne jubin" (If I Don't Love You).
