The heads of the Baška Voda women, carved in stone, adorn the façade of the house of the Jurišić family, built in 1921. The author is a self-taught naive sculptor Ivan Jurišić Zane from Baška Voda. This sculptor whose work is exhibited at the Museum of Naive Art in Zagreb, is also the author of the statue of St. Elijah which adorns the chapel of the same name on top of the Saint Elijah Hill on the Biokovo mountain, overlooking the village of Bast.
