The monument "Naval landing operation" was built in 1983. The monument, designed by Ante Rožić from Bratuša, consists of a white stone ship on the waves, in memory of the naval landing operation carried out by the partisan army on the beach in the Baško Polje on October 18th, 1944. The following day, Baška Voda was liberated from occupation in World War II. This landing marked the beginning of a wider three-day operation that was to liberate the entire area from Makarska to Split from enemy occupation.
