Archaeological site Grebišće, situated to the southeast of the village of Bast, was probably a cemetery of richer population in the late Middle Ages, from the 12th to the 15th century. A medieval stećak tombstone in Grebišće is a sort of ridge-shaped tombstone of plate type, a rare subspecies. It is considered the most beautiful specimen of its kind, commonly occurring in the coastal and inland part of central and west Dalmatia. The stećak tombstone decorated with a crescent moon and swastikas is an interesting example of Christian adoption of pre-Christian and Illyrian symbols on tombstones.
