Ramova wind powered salt pans feature ground-breaking new patented technology in the harvesting of sea minerals, based on the natural parameters of production; wind, pressure, temperature and air humidity. Ramova wind powered salt pans were constructed in 2012 as a pilot project focused on the production of high-quality salt flower used for food, diamond salt and liquid sea minerals, so-called marine oil, used for therapeutic purposes. The originality of this pilot project lies in the fact that production is not weather dependent and is ongoing the whole year, with an emphasis on spectacular crystallization which peaks on hot summer afternoons.
